The water at The Slammer, was coming out of a well laden with minerals. We added this small structure to house all of the equipment. It was meant to have a small reflecting pool (filled with the backwash from the filter system every couple days), but we started work on other projects which might interfere with the placement of the pool. A plaster bust of the client hung in the small window and at night was lit up from below.
This was our first residential project to face demolition. It was removed to make way for Cellblock B.
