First Floor plan of renovated farm house with rearranged first floor, garage and sauna. The farm house renovation has been continuous over seventeen years.
The house in original condition lacked many things including a modern kitchen and useful everyday entry. A side door in the low addition seemed obvious, but over the years the room in the addition became defunct. We designed a real everyday entry with a \\\"mudroom\\\" like area with very easy access to the kitchen. The side addition was also rearranged to add a powder room and laundry.
The partial courtyard of the back of the house formed by the house and the garage is a great summer outdoor space. We added french doors out of the breakfast area and a deck and terrace.
