The Koi Pond at The Slammer was built in the shape of a goldfish cracker. In 2005 it had become the focus of outdoor gatherings, so it needed some seating around it. Since there was soon to be a child toddling around the courtyard we also needed some sort of barrier. It wouldn't be child-proof, it would just keep a toddler from wandering into the water.
